Sedation or Anaesthesia for Oral Surgery
It’s very natural to feel nervous about a possible or upcoming surgery.
Our nurturing team helps you feel calm and relaxed before and during any surgical procedure we perform. We offer IV sedation so you can access the care you need without the pain and anxiety.
With IV sedation the anaesthetist administers sedation drugs that reduce anxiety and pain and induces a state of complete relaxation and peacefulness. The patient will quite often feel very sleepy but remains conscious. Local anaesthesia is always used intra orally at the site of the operation.
Both during and after the surgery, you will be closely monitored by our experienced anaesthetist team. Once complete, you will recover in our dedicated recovery area monitored by our experienced nurses until we determine that it is safe for you to return home.
