Dermal Fillers
Fillers are used to revitalise and boost the skin’s volume in order to eliminate lines and wrinkles and deliver a natural, youthful appearance. They can be used to fill creases and furrows, correct volume loss, reshape and contour the facial structures and enhance the shape of the lips. At HSORC, we offer both Hyaluronic acid (HA) and Radiesse based fillers depending on the patient and procedure.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring component in the skin that gives it its supple, elastic quality. As we age the HA in our skin decreases and so elasticity and volume are lost. This type of filler helps to boost these diminished levels and give the skin a softer, fuller appearance. Results vary depending on treatment location but typically last between 3-12 months.
Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa) that stimulates the body’s natural collagen production. It’s used to plump wrinkled or folded areas of the skin and once injected provides immediate volume and correction that can last for 12-18 months.
